Vishwesh can do many things – sitting still isn’t among them. A director, writer, actor, musician, voice artist, beatboxer and storyteller, it’s difficult to imagine Vishwesh sitting idle.
He began his creative journey through music and drama in his graduation years, becoming a journalist first, later a copywriter with Ogilvy, moving on to Viacom18 (MTV, Vh1, Comedy Central) as a Promo Producer where he won more awards than the mantle piece could accommodate.
He finally joined the gang at Corcoise films as a Director. All through, Vishwesh never let go of his penchant for humor and histrionics and is still an active member of Mumbai’s theatre circuit and circle of independent film-makers, while flirting with standup on the side.
In 2011, he was enlisted as ‘Asia’s Directors to watch out for’ at the Asia-Pacific AdFest in Phuket. In 2012, he won his first Cannes Lion in Branded Content and Entertainment for “The Dewarists”, a documentary mini-series that combined travel and music for Dewar’s Whiskey.
